There is plenty to see and explore in Costa Rica. You can view the noisy macaws, magnificent leatherback turtles, the dazzling morpho butterflies and more in this little place. There are rainforest tours you can join and safari trips for the adventurous. The migrating whale, dolphins and sea turtles can be seen along the coastline of this country at specific times of the year.

Head to the northern part if you want to see active volcano - The Arenal is waiting for you! There is another volcano in the midpoint and one at the southern end of the country. The volcanic area is rich with plants and vegetation due to its nutrient rich soil from the lava resulting from past eruptions. Costa Rica is a major tourist attraction in this area with millions of people visiting each year, all looking forward to enjoy a sun drenched evening on the beaches of this lovely little country.

The best time to visit Costa Rica would be right after Christmas, where the dry weather will start all through April but May marks the start of a long rainy season right through November. Choose a nice time to visit, it is located a few miles form the equator so you would not to come here when the sun is burning hot. Always be alert to any possible disasters and be wary about who you do and do not trust as it is easy to get lost foreign lands when out touring. It pays to do your homework about Costa Rica in advance to gather all relevant information and plan your visit accordingly.
