Researching Real Estate Trends in Florida
I was recently studying Lakeland FL real estate trends and I found some interesting patterns. I found that when one person in these neighborhoods puts their house up for sale, within 30 days there are at least three other people within viewing distance who put their house up for sale as well. At least one of those three people is going to use the same real estate listing company as the first person, but the other two are much more likely to go with a strong competitor. This study was something I started as a homework project, but it is actually something I have kept up with just because of how it fascinates me. I never would have guessed that the typical suburban “keeping up with the Joneses” would carry over into the field of real estate the way that it does. I am thinking that I might expand my research to see what other trends can be traced back to one person in the neighborhood putting their house up for sale. I might find that all of a sudden the families with the same structure and human components start acting differently or something. This could really be an interesting point of view to do research from if I can find the right angle to look at it from.
